Plucked tracks 247 premium and DTC fashion brands across 22,346 active products, of which 13,983 are currently marked down 40% or more. This quarterly index answers three questions: which brands discount the deepest, which have the largest clearance catalogs, and which product categories get marked down hardest.
Three headline findings:
- Girlfriend Collective discounts deepest among brands with 30+ sale items, averaging 70% off across 131 items.
- J.Crew has the largest active final-sale catalog at 707 items, averaging 57% off.
- Activewear is the most-discounted category at 57.1% off on average across 266 items.

Methodology
Plucked operates a daily ingestion pipeline that pulls product listings from 247 premium and DTC brand websites, normalizes prices, classifies each item by category and audience, and tracks active inventory. A product is counted toward final sale when it is either explicitly tagged final sale by the brand or discounted 40% or more off its listed original price. Discontinued or archived products are excluded from all counts. Brands with fewer than 30 qualifying items are omitted from brand-level rankings to avoid small-sample artifacts.
